InMotion Entertainment rents portable DVD players and movies with a wide range of classic and current children’s movies. The airport also features an aquarium which provides children the opportunity to learn and explore the underworld planet. Kids Spots are interactive exploration areas that offers children the space and activity to let loose and work off some of their energy. The airport also features museum exhibitions which includes a number of games, toys and activities, plus an airport commission aviation library.

The airport is not just designed for families, it is designed for all travellers with a variety of amenities that include retail shops, bars, restaurants, lounges, ATMs, charging stations, mailboxes, information centres, first aid stations, customer service centres, as well as a range of other amenities for travellers. Travellers can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, or shop at one of the many retail shops or take in an airport exhibit. Passengers are transported between terminals and parking garages as well as the rental car centre and the airport’s BART Station via the Air Train.

San Francisco International Airport does not have a hotel onsite but there are many motels and hotels in close proximity that are reasonably priced and offer a free airport shuttle service.

Passenger and baggage screening at the San Francisco International Airport is provided by Covenant Aviation Security, a private company that is contracted with the Transportation Security Administration. 

 

Airport Parking and Transfers

San Francisco International Airport features a number of parking options for all parking needs and budges. Among the airport’s parking options is the Domestic Parking Garage, the international Garages A and G, and Long Term Parking. Shuttle services run from the garages to the terminal areas.

Transportation services include taxis, public transportation the Air Train which takes travelers to the airport’s BART Station, limos, shuttles, and public bus services.
