Another Denmark location that inspired a world-famous writer is the Tivoli Gardens, which was where Hans Christian Andersen was working on Nightingale. Visit the famous gardens and see for yourself how the it has a magic air to it.

The other Danish landmarks you can’t miss are Roskilde Cathedral, the National Museum of Denmark, Viking Ship Museum, Rosenborg Castle, and Christiansborg Palace.

If you’re looking for more interactive and colourful buildings in the country, why not spend a day in Jutland’s Legoland? You can even combine your love of thrills and culture by going to Bakken, which is the world’s oldest amusement park.
