When to visit Turkey
The best time to visit Turkey is during shoulder season on May and September, when you can enjoy fewer crowds and warm temperatures during spring and autumn. You can also consider visiting Turkey during low season on October to April for cheaper accommodations and to enjoy skiing. Don’t forget that Istanbul’s shoulder season is June to August and its low season is from November to March.
According to the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs, you and your fellow Australians need to secure an e-visa to fly to Turkey and visit the country for 90 days.
