When to visit Brazil

The best time to visit Brazil depends on what you plan to do here. If you want to attend key events like Carnival, schedule your trip during winter from December to early March. If you want cheaper plane tickets, book your flights from Feburary (after Carnaval) to May and August to November. Remember that they follow Australia’s seasons when you’re packing.

Most Brazilians mostly only Portuguese, with the exception of those in tourist areas, so it’s best you bring a good phrasebook to help you on your travel, especially when you’re using public transportation.
